FAQ
Do I need to pay for a consultation?
No, consultations are free of charge. Send us a message with your ideas and we will match you with the artist we believe will be best able to help you and we will offer you and appointment for the talk.
Can I just walk in at the studio?
You can, but we might be a bit busy and may not have much time to talk to you. It’s always best to call us first or write to us for a consultation and we can tell you when you can come down and someone will be available to talk to you.
What is the Deposit for?
We require a deposit to book your tattoo. The deposit is a booking fee that goes to the artist for the preparation and schedule management, with that we guarantee that we will be available to tattoo you at the arranged date and time. We will not save a date or start the drawing of the project without it. This deposit will be deducted from the last session of the project (in case of multiple sittings). Take note that deposits are NON REFUNDABLE.
How much will the tattoo cost?
That will depend on many factors, including how big the whole tattoo ends up being, how complicated the design is, what preparations are required for the project, and the placement on the body. Different artists might also price differently as they envision different results and work in different ways. You can always ask for an estimated price or if you have a budget you can mention it and the artist will keep that in mind to accomodate you.
How can I pay for my tattoo?
Cash is always best, but we also take bank transfer (on the spot) or Paypal (there is a small surcharge for this method)
What if I need to reschedule my appointment?
No problem, you can call or write to us and we will propose a new date for you. We require a mininum of 48 hours notice. If you give us less warning or if you don’t show up your deposit will be forfeit.
What if I am under 18?
I am sorry but we don’t tattoo minors, you will need to wait a little longer...
Do you do piercings?
No, sorry.
What about cover-ups?
We do cover ups! We most definitely will need a consultation to discuss the possibility of the cover up, and how best to go about it to reach best results. Write to us, include a picture of the tattoo to be covered and what ideas you have and we will get back to you.
What about tattooing over scars? What about using numbing cream?
That differs from case to case, write to us and we can discuss your needs.
How should I prepare for the appointment?
Have a good night sleep, a good breakfast, bring something to drink and a snack if you have a long session. Don’t come hangover, don’t use sun tan lotions or any skin lotion on that day. Wear something comfortable and that you wouldn’t mind if it got dirty with ink splatter. Give yourself plenty of time, you don’t want to be rushing your tattoo.
Can I bring a friend/family member to the appointment?
Most of the time only the person getting tattooed is allowed in the tattoo room, if you come accompanied, they might have to stay in our waiting room and it can be boring for them. Please refrain from bringing small children and babies to the tattoo shop.
I want to see the design before the tattoo appointment
I am sorry but we do not send the designs before the appointment date. We have several reasons to do that. But be reassured that we will have enough time to do any changes that might be necessary on the day. If you really must see a ready-made design have a look at our artists’ wannado designs (usually on the instagram highlights) there are many there to choose from and our artists will be more than happy to do them for you.
Do you sell Gift Vouchers?
Yes we do! We can make it any value you decide to give your loved one. The Vouchers are valid for 1 year from the stamped date.
If you have any further questions, please contact the shop and we will happily answer you.
Thanks!
